After many years behind bars, "R" has found himself homeless since August. With nowhere to go, he strives each day to be a better person. Recently, Honey was able to help him gain documents needed to obtain his ID after 13 years of not having one. He now is actively seeking employment and hoping to buy a car soon. He is an inspiration to us daily and calls the girls of Saved by Grace his "guardian angels". The day he finally got his ID, he told us "just because I have nothing, doesn't mean I have nothing to give."
With absolutely nothing but the clothes on his back and an old torn mattress on the floor, we were in awe of how "A" was living. Having nothing to offer, but a prayer at the time, we set out to help this gentleman. We returned with some basic items and you would've thought it was Christmas for him. As we were getting ready to leave, we asked if we could pray with him. When we asked him if there was anything specific he wanted us to pray for. His reply changed us when he humbly asked for us to pray for "grace, I just need grace." Since then, the generous donations have completely furnished his little house and we continue to check on him to make sure he has what he needs.

After being on the streets, she knew she didn't want to end up like the other "statistics". With a purpose and a plan, she set out to get an apartment of her own. After a few short weeks, she did just that! Saved by Grace walked in and she handed us a basic "wish list" of things she needed to furnish her little place. We looked at the list and had everything she needed to furnish her apartment. Later on, Maria assisted her in getting a job! She is now not only off the streets, but independently living on her own with a job she loves!
